Most memorable moment in the BSU room is tied between two events –
1. When one of the founders of the BSU room came to speak to the e-board. Really memorable moment and motivational.
2. The most fun I have in the BSU room are those times where I pretty much live there during finals…I think my favorite night was the night where most of the class of 2010 was there, and we talked to Denesia on Skype and she was drinking tea. Those really random moments during finals are my favorite. I’m never moving my sleeping bag out of my room, I think I slept better there than I did in Homewood haha.
Favorite discussion….need to think about that. The discussions where people impart knowledge that I didn’t know are obviously the best (I think I’m one of the last people whose taken Africana Studies courses to know that white females gain the most from affirmative action. Need to read more up on that still!).

1. Most heated discussion was Freshman yr when we talked about 2x+1 and Brenton and Liz were tryna comment on each other but anonymously by sayin this person and all that lol.
2. My favorite discussion that I MISSED, was about Africans and Black Americans last yr.
3. i always sit on the couch across from the reserves, the one that used to have the paper lantern on it.
4. My favorite moment was the ice breaker we did Freshmen yr. to get to know everyone better. What’s funny is the only 4 people I remember there are Keenan, Ashela, Johnny Walker, and Denesia.

most heated discussion: freshmen year. sigma chi/haloween in the hood. justin park walks into the room and takes his shirt off while flanked by other frat brothers like he wants to do something. the tension is the room is intense w/ louis young and phil roberts blocking the door.
favorite discussion: too many to recall… although anything relationship related is hilarious until members of delta sigma theta begin bashing black men on campus… j/k… lol
most fun in the bsu room: making the best of the worst times… reading period, random parties, celebrations of blackness

Onyebuchi’s random birthday party with the stripper pole.
The BSU meeting that Justin H. Parks showed up to.
Ashela yelling at one of the girls that lives above the BSU room because we wanted to play our music.
And (my personal favorite) Burnest’s birthday party last fall.

My best memories include:
1. When I first heard someone hooked up Super Mario I almost had a heart attack and was so excited, I played for an hour straight instead of studying. Oh well.
2. I really enjoyed the Greek Life jeopardy too, good times.
