The Reverend Dr. Lorenzo Carlisle is calling for 3 million people to prepare for acts of civil disobedience in the coming year of 2011. The republican party and tea party have stated publicly that their first order of business is to call for hearings to impeach President Obama. The objective of these hearings are to put President Obama on the defense, humiliate him before the world, strip him of his dignity, destroy his reputation, discredit him as commander and chief and to bring public shame to him and his family.
As a result, we are asking people to prepare for seven days of civil disobedience. This call for civil disobedience is based on Joshua 6:1-5 and in the spirit of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We shall form a circle around the city of Washington, D.C. just like Joshua and the Jews created a circle around the Jericho Wall. We are calling for seven days of forgiveness, seven days of healing of the nation, seven days of prayer and seven days of civil disobedience.
We will not sit back and allow any group or party to push us back into the area of Jim Crowism.
